EWLPS — England & Wales Legal Protocol Specialists (“EWLPS”, “ewlps”, “we”, “us”) provides HDR case vetting tools for Claims Management Companies (CMCs). EWLPS is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO registration number ZB861396).

ewlps.co.uk provides product information, pricing, and contact details. It does not process case files.

app.ewlps.co.uk is the vetting portal where registered CMC users upload HDR case packs, spend tokens, and receive risk-rated PDF reports against eleven litigation-grade criteria.

One token equals one case pack vetted and one risk-rated report returned, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The vetting portal is intended for use by Claims Management Companies and their authorised staff only. Users must be 18 or over and must register an organisation before uploading case materials.

EWLPS reserves the right to refuse or terminate access where these terms are breached or where use would pose a legal, security, or reputational risk.

EWLPS provides structured vetting analysis and risk-rated reports to assist CMC intake decisions. EWLPS does not provide legal advice, does not act as a solicitor, and does not accept instructions on behalf of panel firms or clients.

Vetting outputs are tools to support professional judgment. CMCs remain responsible for their own referral decisions, client communications, and compliance with applicable regulation (including FCA and CPR obligations where relevant).

Token packages are priced in Pound Sterling (£) as published on the pricing page. Tokens are non-refundable once a vetting has been run, except where required by applicable consumer or distance-selling law.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activity under their organisation's account.

Users must not:

• Upload case materials they are not authorised to process.
• Attempt to access another organisation's data or circumvent security controls.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to generate misleading reports.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the platform.
• Upload malware or content unrelated to HDR case vetting.

EWLPS may suspend access immediately where a breach is suspected.

EWLPS retains all rights in the platform, vetting methodology, report templates, branding, and underlying software. CMCs retain ownership of the case materials they upload.

Generated vetting reports are licensed to the uploading organisation for internal use and referral to panel solicitors. Reports may not be resold or republished as a standalone product without EWLPS written consent.

EWLPS aims to return most vetting reports within five minutes but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a fixed turnaround time. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where practicable.

Vetting outputs are generated from the documents supplied. EWLPS does not guarantee that a report will result in panel acceptance. Reports reflect the information available at the time of processing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EWLPS shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, loss of referral fees, or reputational damage arising from use of the services.

EWLPS's total liability for any claim arising from a vetting report shall not exceed the value of the token used for that specific vetting, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

EWLPS processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. Full detail is set out in the Privacy Policy. CMCs uploading case packs act as data controllers for the underlying client data and must have an appropriate lawful basis to share materials with EWLPS.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

EWLPS may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page. Material changes affecting registered users will be notified by email where appropriate.
