ewlps: England & Wales Legal Protocol Specialists

Services

One vetting tool. Built for HDR. Nothing else.

EWLPS was built because CMCs kept sending panel firms files that collapsed on the first legal check. The tool runs that check at the CMC end, before the referral fee is paid and before the panel solicitor sends the file back.

“Throughout my 30 years inside UK solicitor firms, I watched CMCs lose thousands on leads that failed the first legal read. EWLPS exists to stop that happening at intake.”

Shaine Stead, Founder & Legal Operations Director

Four steps. Same rigour every file.

Whether the intake team vets one case or fifty in a day, the checks do not change. That consistency is what reduces panel rejections.

  1. 01

    Upload the case pack

Tenancy agreement, landlord correspondence, photographs, expert notes if available. Submitted through app.ewlps.co.uk with everything the panel will ask for in one place.

  2. 02

    Litigation-grade analysis

EWLPS parses the letters and cross-checks them against HDR law: written notice, Section 11 obligations, Awaab's Law timelines, causation, limitation, and quantum indicators. Not a one-line summary.

  3. 03

    Risk-rated PDF report

Each of the fourteen criteria is scored. The CMC receives Green, Amber, or Red with a structured, panel-ready PDF report. Most case packs return within a couple of minutes; complex bundles within five.

  4. 04

    Refer or drop

EWLPS helps CMCs secure more acceptances with airtight case files, and flag weak leads before another token, referral slot, or afternoon is spent on a dead file.

Overall file rating

Intake document policy

Upload initial intake documents only

The EWLPS engine evaluates front-end lead viability against the 14-point England acceptance test, including Awaab's Law and Section 11. Do not upload full historical litigation bundles or trial disclosures at the initial vetting stage.

  • Tenancy agreements and instruction sheets
  • Landlord correspondence and utility bills
  • Initial photographs (JPG, PNG)
  • Instruction forms and triage notes (PDF, DOCX)

Maximum file size per upload: 10MB

Files exceeding 10MB are blocked at the browser before upload begins. Compress or split litigation bundles before submitting.

Data sovereignty

Lead intelligence belongs to the CMC that generates it. Uploaded files are used to produce the vetting report and run the portal service. File contents are never used to train or fine-tune machine learning models. Retention for portal accounts is set out in the Privacy Policy and customer agreement.

Case files and correspondence on a solicitor's desk

Before referral

Airtight evidence structure. Weak files flagged at intake.

Notice, limitation, causation, Section 11, and Awaab's Law scored before another referral fee leaves the building.

Reduce panel rejections

Panel solicitors receive a file already tested against the questions they would ask at instruction.

Structured evidence pack

Notice, limitation, causation, Section 11, and Awaab's Law flagged before referral. Gaps caught at intake.

Pay per vet in £

One token, one file. No monthly licence. CMCs pay only for the vettings they run.
